Hello! My name is Jolisa, but you can all call me Jo. However, for the curious, my full name is pronounced joe-lee-suh. I find many people pronounce it wrong, especially when they just read it and don't hear it. Of course, anything you want to call me is just fine.
I have just turned 20, which makes me feel old. I currently reside in Saskatchewan, Canada but am moving this summer to live in the Rocky Mountains near or in Canmore, Alberta. Possibly Banff, depending on what sort of job I manage to aquire and where I can find somewhere to live. You're probably wondering why I have decided I want to move there. To me, the reason is simple: because the mountains are beautiful. Also, I am getting married this coming August (omgomgomg yay!!) to my adoring fiancé, Carl and we decided we would really like to start our life together with a big change, and what could be bigger than picking up and moving to another province? I guess we could move to another country, but I think that might be too drastic! We are getting married on the saturday closest to the day we started going out, 4 years later. I really can not believe it has been that long. Oh how time flies when you're having fun. (I sound like an old person...) So yeah, lots of exciting things are happening to me.
Aside from all that, I am currently attending university, though I don't know what the hell for as I have no goals in mind because I can't think of a single thing I want to be stuck doing for the rest of my life. It should be something with animals or nature because I can't get enough of either but I just don't know what. I am sure I will figure out what I want to do eventually, I'm not too worried.
We have two cats. The younger one is 11 months old tomorrow. Her name is Zelda and she is a short haired cat of the orangey/peachy/adorable variety. I think she must have been the runt of her litter because she is awfully small, even for her age. She has yellow/green eyes and I love her to bits. We got her when she was 2 months old. She is your typical young cat, running around and annoying the hell out of everyone. Although, to be fair, she is quite the cuddler when she wants to be. Our other cat, whose full name is Vanilla Bean Frappuccino on account of her long white and black fur. I believe she is a balinese, but no one can be certain without blood tests. I rescued her from the local humane society when she was 9 months old and now she is about 1 year and 3 months old. She is a loving sweetheart who probably thinks she is the most gorgeous cat ever, because she is. Um... as for their names... I'm in love with the Zelda games and pretty much play them any chance I get, therefore it was a no brainer to name my cat Zelda. Originally I had wanted to get a male cat and name him Link, but Vanilla was just too pretty to be turned down, plus she just looked so sad and was so friendly. Vanilla used to have a different name, but she just looked like a Vanilla to me, so we changed her name. I could ramble on about my cats for days (I have been told I am going to become a crazy animal lady in the future, especially with my sometimes rather bushy curly hair xD) so I am not offended if you just completely skipped this entire rather pointless paragraph.
As I said, I'm pretty nerdy. I spend my free time reading, writing, playing video games, and above all, working on my photography skills. I love cameras. I like to think of myself as artistic, but I'm pretty novice when it comes right down to it. I love to learn new techniques and have probably taken way too many pictures of my cats than is really necessary. However, I don't think they mind. I really like to photograph nature, random things I find, and really anything that sparks my imagination. If you want to see some of my work, you can check out my deviantart account, the link of which can be found at the bottom of this post. I also play the piano, although not that great, and I like scrapbooking and spending time with friends and family.
Um, I can't really think of much else to say about myself, other than I like to think of myself as a down to earth, nice and friendly person. So, I guess I'll leave it at that. Sincerely, Jo
Contact Information: email: mystifyingminds@hotmail.com MSN: same as above I don't ever really use any other type of instant messaging and don't really go on MSN much. The best way too contact me would be through email. You know what, if you feel like it, just shoot me an email or PM here on Boundless and I can give you my phone number and you can shoot me a text if you want. I'm not going to post it here because I don't want someone finding it and putting me on some sort of calling list and making me get a whole bunch of spam calls. I already get some automated voice asking for Tyler Something over and over. I'm just guessing I got his recycled phone number, but it's annoying. Annnyyyyway, have a great day!!!

Hey there, Jo! You sound absolutely fantastic, and it's awesome to hear such great things going on in your life. Your photography is just beautiful! I do a bit of photography myself, and I do enjoy it, but I do more painting and drawing of the psychedelic variety.
I totally read your cat paragraph ;) If you haven't read, I already plan to have a host of animals over my lifetime, in addition to any baby wildlife that needs fostering! Hah.
As for old school video games? Yeah, I dig it. We will get along splendidly! I'm happy to have you here at Boundless!
